Activities at the Hall

There are a number of activities on at the Community Hall throughout the week. Regular activities at the hall include the following, and don't forget to follow us on Facebook to ensure you're kept up-to-date with everything going on at the Hall.

 

Monday

The Rainbow Club    1.00-3.00pm

A small over 60s club that meets every Monday for a cup of tea, a chat, and a few games of Bingo.

Karate Class       7.00-8.00pm.

All students are welcome, regardless of ability or agility, and try an activity that will have you hooked for life.

For both children and adults.

Classes £3 for children, £3.50 for adults.

     

AA Meeting       8.00-9.30pm

Welcoming group meeting, always happy to see a new face!

 

   

Tuesday

Stroke Group      10.00am-3.00pm

We aim to provide stimulation and companionship for those who have suffered a stroke, and a break for their carers.

VK School of Dance     6.00-7.30pm

Victoria's dance school has fully qualified and PVG checked teachers, and provides lessons for boys and girls from beginners through to competition levels. They teach dance for fun within the local community.

Wednesday

Jacob's Well Thrift Store & Cafe              10.00am-noon

Clothes, bric-a-brac, DVD's all from 50p!

Cafe serves soup & a roll for £1. Free tea and coffee.

Open Wednesdays August-end November; March-end June.

  

Pensioners' Welfare Group      1.00-3.00pm

A place for pensioners to come together for tea and coffee and a chat.

Activities such as Bingo and Raffles, and various outings thoughout the year.

     

VK School of Dance     5.30-7.30pm

Victoria's dance school has fully qualified and PVG checked teachers, and provides lessons for boys and girls from beginners through to competition levels. They teach dance for fun within the local community.

TOADS Support Group     7.00-9.00pm

T.O.A.D.S (Trauma of Alcohol and Drugs Support) Group meet weekly to support families afftected by drugs and alcohol.

Thursday

Cheeky Chops Mother and Toddler's Group    10.00am-noon

A mothers/carers and toddlers group for children aged 0-5years.

A large range of play activities to suit children of different ages, with play space for babies and large area for older children to play in.

£2 per family.

Thursday Cafe & Sacred Space Healing Ministry     11.00am-2.00pm

Our community cafe is open Thursdays, preparing affordable tasty meals for everyone to enjoy. The Sanctuary is also open during this time for quiet prayer or you can have a member of our ministry team pray with you.

Girls aged 5-7 yrs.

Brownies      6.15-7.45pm

Girls aged 7-10 years.

Guides & Senior Section      7.45-9.30pm

Girls aged 10-14 (guides) and 14-20+ (senior section).

Friday

Jeely Piece Club     3.30-5.00pm

Fun play time for children in Primary.

Free and no need to book your child in!

An adult must sign each child in each week.

 

Saturday

Saturday Cafe    10.00am-2.00pm

Join us at our community cafe on Saturdays to enjoy an affordable and tasty meal, or just coffee and cake.
